Toy BMX Bikes and Parts-Ramps Exta
Gene`s BMX News - 01/06/2006
Road Champs -AKA- JAKKS Pacific had a big bunch of die cast
finger bikes and stuff called "BXS" that where way cool looking.
Some of the finger bikes looked like the true working bikes.
with parts and everything you need for a bike, it was there.
Schwinn, GT, Haro, had some with signatures of the riders
from that time like Jamie Bestwick, Jay Miron, Brian Foster.
some also had figures of the riders that came with the bikes.
There was also alot of BXS gear that came with the bikes too
and also by its self like ramps and jumps exta. and a full set
up of a street corse like in the X-games and there was also a
dirt corse-dirt figure looking jumps and a bmx race track corse.

You could build up your corse also they
did have full sets that you could get.
There where also alot of other brands that cought on to the
BXS fad at that time some of the others looked way cool too
but JAKKS Pacific with the BXS was the first to have it out
there to my knowings.
Alot of the bikes and parts-ramps exta where sold at alot
of IBD bike shops and also chain stores like
Wal-Mart exta.
All of the finger bikes, ramps and tracks BXS and others where a
big hits with alot of BMX race tracks as a pass time event, some
even had competitions with the toy bike figures and gear it was a
blast........
The fad of the finger bikes has died off,
and you don`t see much of it anymore......
Surfin the roadchamps.com web site, It looks like they
do not have any thing listed there any more about it.
But I would say Check the (
ebay.com ) web site. Once in a time or
two I see some of the BXS Schwinn bikes and parts show up there,
or
if someone out there has left overs is about the only sources I
know of where to find any of it.
It would be cool to see the finger bike fad pull back up, it was fun.
