The two -day affair saw over 400 riders each day of competition, according to Moses Lake BMX Track Operator Jeff Niehenke. The event went incredibly well. we have a huge group of volunteers that really executed well, even despite the huge rain delay. Redmond, Oregon USA ( Central Oregon Daily ) -- 05/13/2025 Smith Rock BMX, a nonprofit for kids involved in BMX racing in Redmond, is trying to find whoever broke into their facilities Tuesday morning, stealing merchandise and doing hundreds of dollars in damage. The thefts were caught on security cameras. The nonprofit says intruders were at the track at the High Desert Sports Complex between 12:20 and 2:20 a.m. Tuesday. The complex is off Maple Avenue, just east of Redmond and near the Negus Transfer Station. * REI Yearly Net Sales Dip 6%, But New CEO Still Optimistic. Seattle, Washington USA ( BRAIN ) -- 05/09/2025 REI Co-op net sales for 2024 declined 6.2% year-over-year with new CEO Mary Beth Laughton acknowledging a challenging marketplace and yet I remain hopeful. Net sales for the year were reported at $3.53 billion, compared with $3.76 billion in 2023. Net loss for the year was $156.4 million, compared with $214.6 million in 2023.
